Traveling to NZ

Hello everyone, I've made it.

After forgetting part of my power cord for the computer I was lucky enough to find a replacement at a store. I knew as I was packing I would forget something and it would only be a matter of time before I found out. Since I finished packing about 15 minutes before I was suppose to leave for my flight, I didn't quite have ample enough time to realize what I'd forgotten.

While I haven't had the chance to truly sit down and write a "real" entry, these photos will have to suffice for the moment. Also, note the poll to the right side of the blog. You need to vote for your favorite blog title, and then I'll pick the most popular one. I originally had planned on a sophisticated system of entry submission, primaries, delegates, superdelegates, and magnanomous-super-delgagates. But that would just give you, the reader, far too much say in this process. So we're doing it the old-fashioned way. Voting closes February 26th GMT+12.

Nice work Nick, I wonder if you passed my boss on the way. Every February he goes to NZ to fish and this year he flew back to philly on monday night/tuesday.

He showed off pictures of his achievements when he got back. This yr he caught 93 fish apparently, one trout even weighed 10 lbs (i hear thats big).

Look forward to the future posts, have fun!

I am happy that Winnie the Pooh got to go.

whoa. Whose post did you have to delete? Was it comment spam? Because that stuff is really annoying.

Glad you and Pooh made it. I'm voting for "these are all silly" because they are. Why not go for a more Lord of the Rings inspired title like "Nick's Adventures in Middle-Earth", "My Semester with Gollum", or "There and Back Again"?

I also voted these are all silly and second "there and back again" or you could go w. "Nick and Pooh's Excellent Adventure"

So I just got back from a 3 day trip and have seen the many comments. I must say I do like the "there and back again" idea. I'll see if I can add it and if not, keep it in the back pocket.
